Save

Conversion

This setting sets the default file format for the save dialog. This format will be preselected in normal printing process and directly set in Auto-Save mode.

By disabling Show progress during conversion you can hide the animated progress shown during the conversion.

With Skip print dialog you can skip the dialog where you can define the title and other metadata and directly proceed to the save file dialog.

Filename

The filename template is where you change the way you would like PDFCreator to name the documents it creates. It is the proposed name in the save file dialog and the name used in auto-save mode (see Automatic saving ). The default value is <title>, this token will be replaced by the source document’s title. Tokens can be added by selecting an item from the token list.

Save Dialog Directory

By default, the PDFCreator save dialog opens with the last directory that was used. You can define a specific directory instead by enabling Set default output directory. You can then define the preselected output directory. You can still select a different directory in the save dialog.
