Introduction¶

PDFCreator Server is a Windows service application that enables you to convert PDFs using multiple threads. It consists of the Windows service that is responsible for actually converting your printed files to PDFs and a GUI application that allows you to configure as well as start and stop the service. It is independent from PDFCreator, this means PDFCreator is not required when using PDFCreator Server.

After you install PDFCreator Server, you will be able to share PDFCreator Server printers in your network. If users print to those printers, the data will automatically be converted according to your settings without any further user interaction.
