Why are files associated with Microsoft Word not converted while Word is running?ΒΆ
Microsoft Word locks certain file types while it is running. Because of this, HotFolder can only convert Word-related files when Word is closed. If Word stays open, HotFolder may simply move the file to the target folder without converting it.
